In this second of four videos (plus a bonus video) in my DIY canvas series, I show you how to make an interesting painting surface from common pieces of cardboard. In this video we use artist's tissue paper. If you want to follow along, you will need acrylic gel medium (or Elmer's glue), some cardboard, some artist's tissue (use the lighter colors so the dye won't bleed through your paint later on), and a cheap chip brush (hardware stores sell them for around $10 per bag dozen).
