Octarin Ep1 The Wolves of the XIth Legion go on a moon lit raid.
Greetings Adventurers. This is Chris with New Adventures in Skyrim. Today, we start the series of Octarin and the Wolves of the XI Legion. I cannot WAIT to get into this, so let’s do it.
Late at night, the scouts located a Stormcloak camp, likely trying to set up ambushes or even assassinate individuals. Either way, they have to act, soon.
First, there’s the weather. No big deal. Next, there’s the fact the guards may move in and try to take their kill. But most importantly. They’re Stormcloaks. They gather quickly, opting to leave the camp and sent members back to grab it later. With that out of the way, (1:00) they move.
Meeting Illia up the road (1:50), there is no time for flirting or pleasantries, it’s time for business. The others arrive quickly and after a brief speech, he issues the following directives:
Move swiftly.
Move silently.
Strike hard.
Do not be the last in.
And do NOT die.
Just before ascending to the hill (3:20), contact is made with scouts and the hunt is on. Immediately, Octarin moves to find their command and fight him directly, but he cannot find the coward. He resorts to cutting down any blue armored dreg he can find before the other Wolves descend upon them. In the dark melee, he almost cuts down Marcurio...man it HAS been a while.
Finally he finds the leader hiding in the corner of the tent and takes an arrow deep in the neck but fights on. After, and without thought he moves to execute the wounded.
Never in chains. Never carry chains. That’s their motto.
Taking prisoners is for other Legions. Well, at least when it comes to Stormcloaks filth. After gathering up the troops, making sure all were accounted for, he notices the one soldier didn’t die, so when he begs for mercy, Octarin has no qualms in dishing it out.
He hands out his orders and the Wolves move to get what little rest the night will offer.
