If you didn't guess from the foreboding last line of last week's description, or from having played Exhumed yourself, we're kicking off this week's episode with The Sunken Palace of Khnum: basically the goddamn water temple, immediately after the goddamn sewer level. At least this one's less confusing and can actually be smashed out rather quickly if you know what you're doing.
The level AFTER that, however, is where I get tripped up. Deserted Slave Camp has a fetish for timed switches and pressure plates, and I entirely forgot how a particular puzzle worked, thereby wasting about 3 or 4 minutes going around in a circle until I remembered how to progress. At least the Transmitter Beacon part doesn't blue-ball players on this level, I guess.
We're about halfway through the game, and things are going to start deviating from the Ancient Egypt aesthetic very soon, from what I remember.
