What could go wrong when out of touch bureacrats and mothers get together to create new laws?
From the Aircraft Remover ban, adding hours to body repairs, adding costs to the new Infrastructure Bill, that mandates all new 2026 cars must have breathalyzer equipment on board, some mothers don’t know when to let go, and let their baby birds leave the nest.
If it was only their kids, fine, but it affects us all, in effect convicting each and every new car buyer of a DUI, without ever being convicted. This is MADD.
Mothers Against Drunk Driver had a laudable initial intent. I lost somebody that was like a son to me. He lost his live when a drunk dump truck driver ran him over. He, and his fiancee lost their lives, Sept 13, 2007. Rest in piece, Traian and Ela Diaconeasa.
The social implications are widespread of this mentality, of hovering, protecting your kids, to a point they never mature. Boys are particularly affected as they never grow into men. But if you are such a boy, it is time to stand up, and just tell your mother, no. Risk is part of life, part of liberty, and part of this nations history. It is a right, but what is a right that is not exercised?
It is what we are heading towards now.
Call you congressman, senator, mayor, ANY and ALL politicians, and let them know, that this Infrastructure bill snuck in things that have nothing to do with infrastructure, and aim only to control under the guide of safety. The safest place is of course being locked up. A culture of safety, surrenders, gives up, stagnates, and withers away in the end.
Too easily do we accept being monitored, by a third party that we assume is not malicious. Tesla is being sued at the moment for just such a breach. Mocking their very own customers in their most private moments. Is this what MADD wants? This is what the bill will demand.
So, share this video, far and wide. This bill was snuck with bipartisan support, while we are kept distracted with so many matters. But its not too late, as it can be challenged in the courts. If we’re lucky, it can result in just a document you sign when you buy a car, but at worse, its as if you were tried, convicted and sentenced by a judge for DUI, without ever committing a crime.
