Cuphead The Delicious Last Course - Playthrough Part 5 (Secret Boss)

Unlocking the secret boss level is a bit tricky. You have to have bought the broken relic (you don't need to equip it) and talk to the climber competitors. Each gives you a sentence and these are instructions on which graves to activate. The way you have to read them is in relation to the central grave, so if he mentions say "down" and "right" you go diagonally down from the centre. This is very obscure and the instructions are randomised, so it took me a couple of tries to open the portal. The boss itself isn't too challenging once you get the rhythm. The angel doesn't damage you and is always behind your back, so the trick is to switch directions at the right moment. Defeating the boss awakens the cursed relic, which gives you negative statuses like giving you just 1 HP and randomly changing your weapons. I guess this is useful if you want an extra challenge. It's a shame that you seemingly can't replay this battle. I also completed the King's Gauntlet, but that didn't unlock anything other than an achievement. I finally got to experiment with the new weapons and some of them are pretty good, but I decided to stick to what I knew during the new battles.
