August 25, 2020 on the 3rd night of riots in Kenosha Wisconsin, after several buildings were burned, a 17 year old that was there to defend private properties was involved in shooting 3 people. In an earlier interview he states that he is there to defend private property and also identifies himself as EMT/EMS and offers assistance to passing protesters. Later he is being chased by several people that ends in him shooting one of them in the head. He runs away and appears to be heading to the police line at the end of the street. While running he is being chased by a large number of people. He falls to the ground, gets in a scuffle with several people and shoots two of them, one in the chest, one in the arm.
Later it is determined that all 3 men that were shot have criminal records.
Joseph Rosenbaum, 36 (first man shot) registered sex offender involving a minor, bail jumping,battery, two counts of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct
Anthony Huber, 26 (second man shot, had skateboard) felonious strangulation, two counts of domestic abuse, false imprisonment, use of a dangerous weapon disorderly conduct, 3rd time domestic abuse and repeat offender charges
Gaige Grosskreutz, 26 (shot in arm) possible felon burglary and carrying a firearm while intoxicated, member of the anarchist group “People’s Revolution Movement.” In a twitter post on 8/27/2020 a friend of Gaige said that "his [Gaiges] only regret was not killing the kid and hesitating to pull the gun before emptying the entire mag into him"
The 17 year old shooter, Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested and charged (8/28/2020) with one count of first-degree intentional homicide; one count of first-degree reckless homicide; one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide; two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, all felonies
