Ender Lilies Quietus of the Knights - Playthrough Part 1

Started playing Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, which despite the cumbersome name seems to be a fantastic 2D action platformer with Metroidvania elements. You play as a girl named Lily who is the White Priestess - the only hope of a world stricken by a terrible curse turning everyone into horrifying undead monsters. She can summon a knight as her main method of attack. As the game progressed and I defeated a nun boss and purified her soul, her spirit was added to my arsenal as a secondary ability, which unlike the knight has limited uses, but can be used for some devastating combos. Then I found another spirit which I could use as a projectile. You can only equip newly found spirits or items at save points, but there's a good amount of those, so it's not a major issue. The grim dark visuals may seem samey, but they give this great dark fantasy vibe mixed with some anime aesthetics. The world is well built and makes me want to find more about Lily and her role in all of this.
