In The Future You've Been Dreaming Of you play as a Warashi - a house ghost - trying to help a girl get her path in life and achieve her dreams. You do so by guiding her attention to different items or activities in her room, which each raise her stats. There are multiple endings, each of which requires certain stats and notes. Notes are a special item which has life advice, so you'd need to find the specific notes that relate to that profession. From what I can gather the notes are randomly scattered, so even if you go for a specific ending, you will not get it if you don't find the correct notes. Raising stats is also cumbersome since when you start playing you have no idea how much each activity will contribute and to which stat. Some activities detract points as well, so I think you'd have to take notes. You have 10 days in total and each day you have a short amount of time to do these activities, usually a couple of minutes, so you have to prioritise what you really need to do. You can put Sachi in different poses and even harass her, but that's just a waste of time and you don't have much of that. I got the default shut-in ending on my first try and for the second I unlocked new items to use including a femininity energy drink, which can either increase or decrease that stat by 20 points. I initially questioned why you'd ever want to decrease a stat and then I noticed that in order to get a specific ending you have to be between certain values and not above, which is rather weird. Despite my efforts I got the same ending again because I was missing a note. I like the premise of the game, but the mechanics are somewhat cumbersome.
