Dusk Diver 2 - Playthrough Part 14

Yumo's group had to face Raven once more before reaching Yusha. The fight against her wasn't too tough, but I'm not a fan of how the game will randomly give you Burst Ultimate EX only during boss battles. It looks really cool, but you barely get the chance to use it. In any case before you face Shoel Meng Zhang appears and it turns out that Vandak was working for him the entire time. He plans to use Typhon in combination with Fort Avalon to open a stable portal to Earth and possibly conquer it. You have to face Vandak, but before the battle is over Typhon disables your powers and extracts the control keys from Nemea and Yusha. Boss tries to stop him, but Vandak seemingly kills her. Vandak then betrays Meng Zhang and teleports away with Typhon. Nemea sacrifices herself to keep Yumo alive and when she wakes up, you are forced into an alliance with Elysium and Meng Zhang, given that Vandak is likely planning to merge all dimensions and create utter chaos. Bo Yin and D.D. reveal that they were slightly aware of his plans, which begs the question of why didn't they simply explain it beforehand, but whatever. D.D. joins your party and while she looks cool, her play style is really awkward. She relies on a lot of electrical traps and teleportation and her blade builds up energy until normal attacks work like projectiles. This sound fine, but in practice, her combat feels really choppy and the combos don't flow naturally.
