The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this commercial gun point robbery.

On January 13, 2024, at 8:55pm at 5042 N. 5th St the offender entered the Yala Habibi Market and robbed it point of gun. The complainant reported to police he was working at the Market when the unknown black male entered his store and started a verbal dispute. The offender then broke into the area behind the counter and assaulted him and pulled out a gun and demanded the money from the cash register. The offender took $1000 and fled the store going south bound on N. 5th St and west bound on Ashdale. Local store owners reported to police this male is known to hang in the area of N. 5th St.

Suspect Description: Unknown black male, tall with medium build wearing a blue and white hoodie with black pants and red and white sneakers.
