Cherry blossom flowers
Organic plum vinegar
sea salt
Steps:
1.Wash the freshly collected sakura flowers in spring water gently
2. Dry them with dry towel.
3. Sprinkle some sea salt over them and place a cling wrap over them.
3. Press a weight on top of the flowers for 2-3 days.
4. Remove weight and squeeze out excess water gently with both hands.
5. Place them in a jar of organic vinegar for two days. I used plum vinegar.
6. Remove the flowers one by one from jar for natural drying for another few days.
7. After dried, put the flowers in a dry container and cover them generously with sea salt.
8. Store and use whenever needed.
Spring is so immensely beautiful and to capture her beauty and gift is like receiving a sacred blessing. Cherry blossoms are harvested where we live and pickled naturally using celtic sea salt, local spring water, organic plum vinegar, natural sun and lots of love.
