Shooting Incident Victim 2300 W Indiana St DC 19 39 109701

On Wednesday December 25, 2019 at 5:09 PM, the victim, a 21 year-old male, was walking to the store in the 2300 block of West Indiana Avenue when he heard several gunshots grazing the victim in the stomach. Video surveillance depicts an unknown male walking on Indiana towards 23rd Street produce a semi-automatic handgun and fire at least five times in the direction of the victim. The offender fled the area on foot on Indiana towards 24th. The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. Ballistic evidence from the scene indicates a 9MM handgun was used.

Suspect Description: Black male, medium build, wearing a dark colored jacket with an unknown logo on the back, dark hood, dark colored sweat type pants with either light colored wording or lines on the left leg, black sneakers. *** CAUTION CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROURS ***
