Nadir - Playthrough Part 4

This time around I finally picked the Wrath path. In general the enemies here appropriately gain Rage rather quickly, so they deal tons of damage if allowed. Shielding myself was a good strategy. Eventually I reached Abaddon - the boss of this circle of Hell. He starts the battle with 10 Martyr points. Each time you deal damage to him he gains 1 Rage. When you redraw he gains 1 Martyr point and erases your highest buff, meaning that his attacks quickly grew insanely powerful, so me activating a single one of his cards would kill me and you can't really protect yourself with Shields. I had to resort to a cheesy strategy of only using my Stealth cards and redrawing until he was dead. It was a gruelling fight, but a win is a win. Back at Nadir I finally got resources to construct some new buildings, mainly the Throne of Want which unlocks the Character Development Node in expeditions and the Cursed Treasury giving me access to the Greed circle.
