Resumed the game at a 19 lives checkpoint. I did much better in the platforming sections, so I kept a healthy amount of lives and adapted pretty quickly to the new levels. What waited me at the end though was a pretty brutal final boss battle that was something of a puzzle. Overall the game was really fun and I would definitely recommend it to fans of 2D shooters.
