This is a very easy project that could be completed in the weekend. As you know I like to re-use pallets and other wood materials and recycle them. This project is a simple box that slips over a post buried in the ground. The saddle is very easy to make as is the bracket that holds the saddle up. Keep in mind that a 100 foot hose that is 1 inch wide will hold about 4 gallons of water. A gallon weighs about 8.3 pounds so do the math.
