Skul The Hero Slayer - Playthrough Part 12

After completing one of those annoying stealth challenges I got the Ancestral Weapon quintessence, which summons a barrage of weapons similar to Gates of Babylon - they even have the golden colour. Further along I found the Gambler skull which is a great zoner - he chucks cards at your enemies and his special moves also have great range. There's a bit of randomness on how good all his skills are in terms of damage and effect, but overall they are great. I also managed to upgrade the Prisoner skull to its final form The King. In terms of abilities it doesn't change much, but the special moves are better. This skull is great to control, but the gimmick of swapping your skills isn't particularly useful. I reached the powered up Hero's Apprentice at low health and he murdered me. On the second run I got to the exact same spot, but had to face a powered up Cleric. While she is the easiest one to beat in normal form, here she's a projectile monster, summoning walls of light and boxing you in. She defeated me. I think I'm playing well, but these heroes are such damage sponges that they wear you down.
