Mario Tennis Aces - Playthrough Part 7 (Ending)

The final battle with Bowser involved everything I've learned so far - accurate shots to remove his shield, utilising the jump of the trick shot to avoid his attacks and using perfect timing to return his charge shots. It was a challenging battle, but quite fitting for a final boss for the game. You get a generic happy ending and a new island is revealed featuring some new challenges.

I've really enjoyed the Adventure mode of Mario Tennis Aces - it does a fantastic job teaching you how the game mechanics work and making you better at the game. The controls function great with a button assigned to each type of shot, but it may take some time learning when to go for a charge shot or how to use the trick shots to build meter. The energy management is also an important part of the meta game when playing a match. The story is a bit basic, but that's expected for such a title. Overall it's a really solid tennis game, so those who like the sport or Mario titles should definitely give it a try.
