Smelter - Playthrough Part 19-1

Eve and Smelter's adventure draws to an end as they enter the portal into Smelter's heart. Here they are attacked by the mysterious female warrior again. Upon defeating her Smelter reveals that he's been using Eve to gain power and abandons her. The female warrior, whose name turns out to be Rivel suggests that they seek help from the Zims original leader empress Zermetha. After releasing her from her prison she grants Eve powers similar to what Smelter had. What followed were a series of tricky levels which were timed since Smelter decided to plant bombs everywhere. Eventually you escape all that and confront Smelter who reveals that he planted the apple which Adam took in order to put this whole thing into motion and manipulate Eve to help him regain his power. I don't particularly like this plot twist since I enjoyed the banter (of sorts) between our two heroes and it seemed that he genuinely liked her. Plus he seemed too silly to be this evil mastermind. Oh, well. His attacks are quick, have a great range and he constantly teleports meaning you have to be on your toes. Unfortunately Smelter has a second form. You do get a health refill, but if you die, you have to start from the first one, which is just mean since it takes a while to bring him down.
