✅ Ingredients:
• potato – 3,3 lb | 1,5 kg
• butter – 1,5 oz | 40 g
• onion – 6 oz | 180 g
• garlic – 3 cloves
• all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp
• chicken broth or water – 2 cup | 500 ml
• 20% cream – 6 fl oz | 180 ml
• cheddar cheese – 9 oz | 270 g
• dijon mustard – 2 tbsp
• salt (to taste) – 2 tsp
• ground black pepper (to taste) – ½ tsp
• scallion – 2 tbsp | 10 g

• stockpot
• carving board
• baking dish
• pan
📙 Preparation:
1. Cut the potato into dices of 1*1 in | 2,5*2,5 cm size, put into the stockpot, pour with cold water, add 1 tsp of salt and cook for 5 minutes medium heat, then drain.
2. Heat the pan and fry the chopped onion and finely diced garlic over low heat for 3 minutes.
3. Sprinkle the flour and fry for another minute over low heat constantly stirring. Add the broth or water, the cream, ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of pepper and simmer for 5 minutes until a bit thick.
